The starter package includes the following services:

  • A multi-network (3G + 4G) SIM card
  • 6 GB  mobile internet
  • 100 minutes of call

Important – please be aware:

  • The Cubacel Tur SIM card must be picked up within 14 days of purchase, otherwise it will expire without replacement!
  • The starter package with SIM card and balance can only be purchased online.
    An additional purchase on site is only possible online
  • An additional top-up is only possible with data credit.
    Call credit or SMS credit cannot be topped up once it’s use.
  • The validity of the Cubacel Tur package (the SIM card) is only 30 days. After the 30 days the Cubacel TUR SIM-Card will be deactivated automatically. Any existing credit expires worthless and cannot be paid out.
  • The Cubacel TUR SIM card can only be purchased by tourist’s. Cuban citizens only have access to a “regular” Cubacel SIM card.
  • When ordering, you must put the following information WITHOUT EXCEPTIONS: first name, last name, passport number, nationality, arrival date. Please ensure that you enter your data carefully and truthfully. The data is transferred to ETECSA in real time with the order. An additional change is not possible.
  • The pickup is possible at any commercial ETECSA branch in the country (Oficina Comercial or Centro Multiservicio), as well in the following airports:

    – Havana International Airport (José Martí) Terminal 3
    The CubaTUR / ETECSA stand is located after customs / migration in the baggage area in Hall C and is open 24/7 every day.
    If you miss this or e.g. For example, if you land in Terminal 2, you could also visit the ETECSA office outside the airport at Terminal 3.
    However, this is only open until 7 p.m.
    (Terminal 1 = domestic flights / Terminal 2 = charter flights / Terminal 3 = international flights)

    – Holguín International Airport at the ETECSA / CubaTUR stand.
    – Varadero International Airport at the ETECSA / CubaTUR stand.
    – Camaguey International Airport at the ETECSA / CubaTUR stand.
